Terms of use · Effective 2 October 2026

Train with agency. Use the record with care.

These plain-language terms describe the current SelfMate app and the responsibility that comes with recording your own training.

Fitness log, not medical advice

SelfMate organises information you record. It does not diagnose conditions or replace qualified health advice.

Your responsibility

Use equipment safely, follow professional guidance where appropriate and stop activity if you feel unwell.

Your data

You retain ownership of the information you enter. SelfMate stores the record on your device and lets you export it as CSV, plain text or a JSON backup. On Android, the standard device backup may include it according to your settings; the iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch apps exclude it from automatic backups.

No account or hosted service

No account is required and SelfMate does not provide a developer-hosted workout storage service. You are responsible for your device, platform backup settings and any files you export or share.

Availability and loss

We work to keep the app reliable, but no storage or backup method is guaranteed. Keep an export if a workout record is important to you.

Service changes

Features and these terms may change. Material legal or privacy changes will be dated and published before they apply. Questions can be sent to yocoolmate+selfmate@gmail.com.
SELFMATE
