How to set it up

1
Set the bar across the upper back and place the safeties below the intended depth.
2
Choose a foot position that keeps the whole foot in contact with the floor.
3
Rotate the bar clear of its hooks only after bracing the torso.

How the movement works

1
Sit the hips down between the feet as the guided bar descends along its rails.
2
Stand by extending hips and knees together, then re-hook the bar only when stable.
